Dear Activity Director,
I am dedicated to providing quality entertainment for seniors and challenged audiences of all ages, particularly those confined to convalescent, health care and assisted living facilities or participating in special programs. Working with a state-of-the-art, self-accompanying keyboard, my show has been developed from a lifetime of music and over 30 years of leading my own live concert/dance band throughout central New England. Since 1995 I have been privileged to entertain seniors as a full-time solo performer in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and South Carolina. I am now semi-retired but will continue this vocation for as long as God grants ability, health and strength to carry on in what I truly love!
My desire is to bring a few moments of joy into the lives of our seniors, be it with a song, a word, a touch, or by stirring a faded memory. With an extensive repertoire that includes classic hits for everyone; big band, oldies, country, soft rock, ballads, and traditional gospel, the audience is never trapped in a time warp or a specific genre. The show is musically diverse to be enjoyed by audience and staff alike.
Special occasion themes are available. Shows can be tailored to any theme imaginable. Participation by staff, family and volunteers is welcome and encouraged . . . dancing, acting, (and acting up), costumes, strutting your stuff, improvisation, sing-a-long, name-that-tune, or one of my favorites, wheelchair boogie with those so confined. Whatever brings a smile to their lips and a twinkle to their eye . . . it's all about them!
